Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) work with and under the direction of registered nurse and physicians. They care for the injured and handicapped and other sick patients. Some of there duties are that include to take their patients temperature their blood pressure and their pulses they also give injection , change dressing and help give patients baths but in general they mostly care for patients in hospitals and nursing homes as well as extended care facilities some of the practical nurse work in private homes.

The high school diploma or the GED certificate is not really require but it is encourage for you to accomplish. The state approved training programs are offered by the hospital , vocational school, junior colleges and the private schools.

I Would not want to be a practical nurse because this is not really my thing to do in life and this career I really don’t see myself doing this career in my future.
